BITTY•THE•BITCOIN•MASCOT
Bitcoin's open-source mascot from bitcoin.org — immortalized on BTC Layer 1 through the Runes protocol. 21 million tokens. 8 decimals. Rune #209,730. Forever on-chain. 🧱⛏️
All data is pulled from the Bitcoin blockchain in real time. Trustless and verifiable.
21,000 BITTY tokens were sent to Satoshi Nakamoto's Genesis Wallet as an eternal tribute. These tokens are permanently locked — a proof-of-belief burned on the first block.
Sent on 09/02/2026 via Bitcoin Taproot. TX: 93eb58...c86e. These tokens are mathematically inaccessible — forever locked. Don't trust, verify.
Three layers of history converged on February 4, 2026. Not marketing — verifiable facts, permanently etched on the Bitcoin blockchain.
Bitty — masked, on-chain, and unbothered. Rune #209,730, etched forever at block 935,003.
In 2008, Satoshi Nakamoto published the Bitcoin white paper. In January 2009, the Genesis Block was mined — and a new form of money was born. In April 2024, the Runes protocol launched at the Bitcoin halving block, bringing native fungible tokens to Bitcoin L1 for the first time. No sidechains. No bridges. Pure Bitcoin.
In 2019, Square Crypto was founded — a Bitcoin-focused, open-source organization within Block, Inc. In 2021, it was renamed Spiral. Spiral created Here Comes Bitcoin — an open-source educational initiative using lovable anthropomorphic Bitcoins to make Bitcoin funnier, friendlier, and more accessible. On May 8, 2024, Spiral declared all assets free for anyone to use, anywhere, without permission. No copyright. Forever.
On February 4, 2026, at block 935,003, BITTY•THE•BITCOIN•MASCOT was etched onto the Bitcoin blockchain via the Runes protocol. The same transaction inscribed Ordinal #118,247,453 — landing on a sat mined on May 24, 2015, Epoch 1, when each block carried a reward of 25 BTC. Five days later, 21,000 BITTY were sent to Satoshi's Genesis Wallet for just ~$0.19 USD — permanently, verifiably, irreversibly.
Designed to mirror the mathematics of Bitcoin itself. Every number is intentional.
Distributed via the Runes protocol on Bitcoin L1. 18,985 mints of 1,000 BITTY each. No pre-sale, no VCs, no insiders. Open to all — first come, first served.
The 2,015,000 pre-mine carries the year Bitcoin adopted its official ₿ symbol — November 2015. The same symbol Bitty wears on his chest. The same symbol that identifies the BITTY Rune on-chain. A number chosen before the etching. Discovered after. Bitcoin has a way of doing that.
Sent to Satoshi's Genesis Wallet on Feb 9, 2026. TX: 93eb58...c86e. Permanently inaccessible. A proof-of-belief and eternal tribute. Effectively burned forever.
